'All Is Full Of Love' was written after the rest of Homogenic, which I'd wanted to be an aggressive, macho album. In Icelandic mythology, you have this saga where the Gods get aggressive and the world explodes and everything dies and then the sun comes up and everything starts all over again. It's the last track on Homogenic after 'Pluto' which stands for death. 'All Is Full Of Love' is like the birds coming out after a thunderstorm. In a way, in my head, 'All Is Full Of Love' is the first song on Vespertine."

Bjork Bjork Bjork Bjork Bjork! One of the smartest, strongest, most beautiful women ever. So sensual, and so in charge of her sexuality, and so open and loving. I cannot praise this woman enough.
This quote seems helpful for me given the dark turn the world has taken lately. It also resonates with the dark emotional storms we pass through as individuals, and the wonderful feeling that can come when the storm breaks and your heart soars again.
I also love this video because it reminds me that in this seemingly mechanical universe, love is everywhere. Materialists would have us believe that all this is nothing but dumb matter, but actually - all is full of love!
